Swati Piramal was brought into the world on 28 March 1956 out of a Gujarati family with a business foundation in Mumbai. Her dad's name is Niranjan Shah, maintains a material business, and mother's name is Smt. Arunika Shah, a culinary expert who runs "Praise, a providing food business.
Dr. Swati finished her tutoring from St. Xavier's College, and Walsingham House School, Mumbai. She got her Master's certificate from the Harvard School of Public Health. She got her practitioner training, a M.B.B.S from Mumbai University in 1980.
She finished her Doctorate after her marriage. Dr. Swati is an industrialist, Indian researcher and is engaged with medical care, zeroing in on development and general wellbeing. She is a graduate of the Harvard School of Public Health. She is the Vice-Chairperson of Piramal Enterprises Ltd. She is hitched to Ajay Piramal of the Piramal Group in 1976.
