A company stands or falls with the quality of its workers. The stylish product in the world will not save you if you do not have the people to back it up. That is why it makes sense to produce an terrain that workers love working in. This is called hand experience operation( EXM).
EXM focuses on perfecting hand satisfaction and setting internal brigades up for success. It's a process that we are veritably apprehensive of atX-Team and one that we are constantly trying to upgrade. According to Jacob Morgan's The Hand Experience Advantage, the hand experience consists of three rudiments
- Company Culture
- Technology Environment
- Workplace Environment
- Company Culture
Unnaturally, a healthy company culture is one that is erected on trust, respect, creativity, and collaboration. These values show themselves in the everyday opinions a company makes.
For illustration, despite being a completely remote company,X-Team does not cover any of itsemployees. However, it would indicate that we neither trust nor respect ourX-Teamers, If we would. But we do, which is why there is no time- shadowing software on anyX-Teamer device.
Another illustration is the Keep Moving Forward mindset that everyX-Teamer embraces, centered around the idea that we are always looking to drive our systems and pretensions forward. AnX-Teamer does not stay for someone differently's reply before they continue working; they see what differently they can do to keep moving forward.
X-Teamers live in all corners of the world and come from all walks of life, but it's these participated values that unite us and inspire us to strive for advanced heights every day. While we are always working to ameliorate our company culture, we like to believe it's what makesX-Teamers proud to work for us.
X-Team wouldn't have been possible if it had not been for technology. We have been a remote company since themid-2000s, when remote had no meaning other than the device you used to switch channels on your television. But to us, indeed back also, it was a way to connect with other people around the world and do commodity meaningful together.
How you use technology is crucially important in EXM. This was most blatantly egregious during the epidemic, when nearly all companies demanded to go remote and instantly tried to recreate the office online. Endless meetings without dockets and no inflexibility in working hours meant that numerous workers burned out, inaptly believing remote work was not for them.
The problem was not remote work. The problem was how companies used technology to apply remote work. AtX-Team, we've a low- meeting, high- attestation policy, as well as fairly flexible working hours and asynchronous communication. Without these crucial rudiments, which heavily calculate on technology, our hand experience wouldn't be where it's right now.
Workplace terrain does not just mean how you've physically organized your office( which wouldn't make sense in a remote company anyway). It also encompasses the processes you use to streamline work, as well as the conditioning you organize to engage and inspire your workers.
still, you know that we put a huge quantum of trouble into this, If you've been followingX-Team for a while. We wouldn't dare to vapor, but our events are unlike any you'll have seen at other companies. From our fabulousX-Mas events to ourX-Outposts to our periodic$,500 Unleash budget, we go out of our way to produce a plant terrain that stands out from any other company.
There are numerous moving pieces to make this all work, and it's taken us over a decade and a half of trial to get then, but it's how we take the hand experience to the coming position.
